The Geology of SE Asia
The Geology of SE Asia is a training course for professional oil and gas exploration geoscientists working SE Asia. It is suitable for junior explorers and newcomers to the region and those local more experienced geoscientists who want a broader view of areas they are focusing on. It only uses public domain data and it has been running for more than 22 years over which time more than 1000 geoscientists have attended the course. The course covers the geological evolution of the entire region and the petroleum geology, exploration history and future potential of all of the major hydrocarbon-bearing basins.
The raw course notes and a library of ArcGIS geolocated sections and images are available for purchase using the order form on this website. Prior attendance at the course is not a requirement but is strongly recommended.
